Violinist Alex Koffman of the Maxwell Street Klezmer Band joins his old friend, pianist Yuri Bokov, in a program that is as melodious and nimble as it is humorous and eclectic. Including everything from their special arrangements of klezmer, gypsy and American swing standards to musical jokes on classical themes (a la PDQ Bach), the program promises to be a musical delight.
