Highwood Festival Days Presents A Musical Tribute to Local Highland Park Musician, John Juul, who Recently Passed

On Sunday, July 29^th, local bands are performing in collaboration with the Highwood Festival Days in tribute to John Juul, who recently passed after a courageous five-year battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

Being an important part to the North Shore Blues Jam scene, John Juul is known for his open mic events in Highwood since the early 90’s! He has not only inspired hundreds of aspiring musicians since, but has formed a community of new friends and up and coming musicians.

A tribute will be dedicated to John Juul during the Highwood Festival Days to celebrate a life full of happiness and music! Come and join this memorial tribute to someone who gave shared his passion for life throughout The City of Highwood.
