Solo Viola Recital with Rose Armbrust Griffin in Highwood

Enjoy a relaxing evening of superb music, performed by Rose Armbrust Griffin, an accomplished violist who is also on the faculty of Midwest Young Artists. Admission is $5.00 and includes a wine and cheese snack bar.

  La Campanella (Arr.W.Primorse)  A. Paganini   Bio:

Rose Armbrust-Griffin from Wayne, IL began studying the viola at age 2. She immediately began performing and competing until she entered The Juilliard School in 2002. During her youth, she was principal violist of the Midwest Young Artist, Dupage Youth, and Scotland’s International Youth Orchestras. She was a prizewinner in the Chicago Viola Society, Rembrandt Chamber players, and Fischoff International Chamber competitions.

In 2006, she received her Bachelor of Music from The Juilliard School studying with Heidi Castleman and Hsin-Yun Huang. As an active chamber musician at Juilliard she performed in their annual Chamberfest and also concertized with members of a Manhattan School quartet in The Musica Bella Chamber Series.
