Spex Highland Park Grand Relocation Event!

Spex, Chicago’s premier destination for stylish eyewear and sun wear, will hold a grand re-location event on Friday, April 12th from 5-8 pm, at 463 Central Avenue, Highland Park; 847 266 6400; spexchicago.com. The evening celebrates the opening of their new retail space, as well as an ART+VISION opening reception showcasing the colorful works of painter Beth Emery. Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy refreshments and light appetizers, swag bags valued at $100 for the first 25 guests, and a trunk show featuring the 2013 Lafont eyewear & sunglass collection. A $1000 Spex Shopping Spree will be raffled off to ONE lucky winner! 


The new, larger space features many of the unique eyewear lines that Spex is known for. “We’re so delighted to expand our special brand of ‘Spex appeal’ in our stunning, light-filled space; our luxury brands have never looked better!” says store manager Yana Litvinova. Michael Caputo, Director of Marketing for Spex, earmarks the relocation for continued success; “It’s springtime and our fresh space represents new growth for our brand in Highland Park; the space is architecturally ‘one-of-a-kind and a perfect setting for the discerning shopper who appreciate beautiful surroundings.” Spex eyewear collections include Beausoleil, CHANEL, Lafont, l.a.Eyeworks, Lindberg, Seraphin, OGI Eyewear, Oliver Peoples, PRADA, TOM FORD, and David Yurman. As with other Spex locations, children’s eyewear, comprehensive eye exams, reading glasses, eyewear accessories, and contact lens fittings will be available.
