Evanston Driver in Collision Charged With DUI: Cops

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

DUI

Pedro C. Cordova, 21, of Des Moines, was arrested and charged with felony driving under the influence, no valid driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane use after a July 4 traffic stop

Cordova was pulled over by police at about 12:14 a.m. near the intersection of Skokie Valley Road and Half Day Road.

His court date is July 29.

DUI

Peggy A. Olson, 54, of the 2500 block of Eastwood Avenue, Evanston, was charged with driving under the influence after a July 6 accident.

Police arrested Olson following a collision in the 0-100 block of Skokie Valley Road. She was released on bail, and her court date is Aug. 5.

DUI

Jae W. Bae, 39, of the 1000 block of Safford Avenue, Lake Bluff, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane use after a July 9 traffic stop.

Bae's court date is Aug. 5.
