Failed Burglar Damages Home: Highland Park Crime Blotter

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following is the most recent crime blotter from the Highland Park Police Department.

THEFT

• Retail - April 24 at 10:05 a.m.
  • A staff member at the Ulta at 135 Skokie Valley Road told police that a man took merchandise without paying.

BURGLARY

• Criminal damage - April 26 at 9:55 p.m.
  • A resident living on the 1900 block of Green Bay Road reported that an unknown person had tried to break into their house. There was damage to the door frame, police said.
