Food Bank's Mobile Pantry Coming to Highwood This Month

The Northern Illinois Food Bank’s Mobile Pantry will make a stop in Highwood on Friday, April 17 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the Highwood Recreational Center, 432 Green Bay Road.

The Food Bank is a “traveling food pantry” that delivers nutritious food directly to people in need of food assistance. It delivers meat, produce, and nonperishable food to sites where people need food.

Individuals will be required to sign in with their name and address. Please bring bags, boxes or carts for food. Food will be distributed on a first come-first served basis. There will be no charge to recipients.
