Free Pizza At Opening In Highland Park
Free pizza Tuesday promised to anyone who follows the restaurant on social media.

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — A new "pizza joint" is opening in Highland Park next week with free pizzas on offer to people who follow it on social media.
Blaze Fast Fire'd Pizza's newest location is in the center of Port Clinton Square at 600 Ave in Highland Park. It features seating for 43 inside with another two dozen seats on the patio.
Anyone who follows Blaze Pizza on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram has been offered a free build-your-own pizza on Tuesday, April 18 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Pasadena, California-based Blaze Pizza is a fast-casual chain sounded in 2011. It offers "artisanal pizzas that are both fast and affordable." Its restaurants allow customers to create or customize their pizzas with their own choices of ingredients. Their centerpieces are open-flame ovens which cooks thin-crust pizzas in three minutes.
“By making dough in-house, carefully sourcing ingredients, and cooking by fire, we’re giving guests a great way to enjoy artisanal pizza without the wait,” said Jim Mizes, Blaze Pizza's chief operating officer.

The new Highland Park restaurant will feature a selection of wine and draft beer, as well as gluten-free dough and vegan cheese.
