Friends For Health Launches Live Online Auction Through Sept. 15

HIGHLAND PARK, IL (SEPTEMBER 2017) – Friends for Health (FFH), a non-profit supporting preventative and educational programs at the North Shore Health Center (NSHC), is inviting the public to help raise much needed funds for its Specialty Care Fund during its 10-year 10-day celebration. The new online auction is running now through Friday, September 15 at https://friendsforhealth2017.eflea.ca/view.

Friends for Health kicked off its 10-year 10-day celebration with a ‘Cocktails for a Cause’ fundraiser on Tuesday, September 5 at Beelow’s Northshore Steakhouse. More than 60 guests enjoyed complimentary appetizers, half price cocktails, free dessert certificates, and FFH guest bartenders raised more than $300 in tips over the two-hour period to support the Specialty Care Fund that provides testing and consultations beyond the primary medical and dental care provided at NSHC. These services include colon cancer screenings, diagnostic testing, retinal screenings for diabetics, mammograms, ultrasounds, and oral surgery.

‘Cocktails for a Cause’ offered guests a first peak at the launch of FFH’s 10-day live online auction and winners are invited back to Beelow’s to pick up their prizes! Throughout the 10-day fundraiser, Beelow’s NorthShore Steakhouse will donate 15 percent of guest’s dining bill directly to FFH.
