'Hardcore Corn' Coming To Highland Park Public Library
The Highland Park resident's one-woman show will appear one night only at the library before two weeks of performances in New York City.

From Hard-Core CORN: Highland Park resident brings her second one-woman show—“Hard-Core CORN” --to the Highland Park Public Library before taking it to New York City’s FRIGID NY Festival.
Haramis will perform "Hard-Core CORN" (about her food intolerance) at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13 at the Highland Park Public Library.
In “Hard-Core CORN,” Kelly Haramis is an uncontrollable food addict. And Kelly's popcorn-jonesing life is about to get flipped upside down after she meets a nutrition guru. Find out what happens when Kelly navigates a maze of maize--through hilarious newscasts, cooking shows and personal confessions--in a world turned against her in this one-woman show directed by David Knoell.

Haramis sold-out her venue at the 2017 Chicago Fringe when she performed “Hard-Core CORN.” Chicago’s WLUW FM 88.7 calls “Hard-Core CORN” a “wonderful show...it’s a bunch of laughs.” The Minneapolis Star-Tribune says Haramis has a "sunny and engaging stage presence" on stage in “Hard-Core CORN.”
Haramis performed “Hard-Core CORN” at the 2018 Minnesota Fringe Festival, the 2017 Chicago Fringe Festival and 2014 Chicago Women’s Funny Fest. She will perform the show six times at the FRIGID NY Festival in New York City in February and March. Haramis performed her first one-woman show “Double Happiness: A Tale of Love, Loss, and One Forever Family” at the Highland Park Library in 2016. She is excited to perform her latest show “Hard-Core CORN” in her hometown.
