Highland Park Car Crash Leads to Charges of Child Endangerment

Octavio Barrera (20) of the 2500 block of Kennedy Drive, North Chicago was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, possession of cannabis, open transportation of alcohol, uninsured motor vehicle and speeding after being stopped by police in the 2700 block of Skokie Valley Rd., Highland Park. Barrera was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of September 26, 2014 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan.

Jose Lopez (27) of the 0-100 block of N. Wolf Road, Wheeling was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage and no valid drivers license after being stopped by police in the 3300 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Lopez was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of October 3, 2014 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan.

Suk Kim (55) of the 33700 block of N. Summerfield, Gurnee was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police in the 3300 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Kim was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of September 26, 2014 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan.

Abel Moreno (24) of the 4400 block of Towle Avenue, Hammond, Indiana was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and reckless driving after being stopped by police in the 300 block of the Edens Expressway, Highland Park. Moreno was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of September 26, 2014 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan.

Caitlyn Fontaine (26) of the 4600 block of N. Sheridan Road, Chicago was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and 3 counts of endangering the life of a child after police responded to a two car accident near Half Day Road and Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Fontaine was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of September 12, 2014 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan
