Highland Park Could Get Up to 5 Inches of Snow

The Winter Weather Advisory issued by the National Weather Service remains in effect for Lake County until noon today. Approximately 2-5 inches are expected to accumulate.

The City’s Public Works Department 15-truck fleet has been salting and plowing streets all morning. They will continue to salt and plow streets and roadways until all streets are passable and all parking areas are clear.

Please take extra time and use caution when driving. Additionally, please assist snow plows by moving cars into the driveway and refraining from parking on the sides of the street.
