Highland Park Crime: 58-Year-Old Woman Batters Cop, Police Say

SPEEDING 35+ MPH OVER THE LIMIT

On Feb. 16 at 7:05 p.m., a 24-year-old Schaumberg man, of the 0 - 100 block of West Remington, was arrested and charged with speeding 35+ MPH over the limit after police responded to a traffic accident in the 200 block of the Edens Expressway.
NO VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE

On Feb. 16 at 7:05 p.m., an 18-year-old Waukegan man, of the 1000 block of Muirfield Avenue, was arrested and charged with no valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle after police responded to a traffic accident in the 300 block of Skokie Valley Road.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS
On Feb. 17 at 9:33 p.m., an 18-year-old, of the 0-100 block of Walker Avenue in Highwood, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass to land, interference with public officers, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia after police responded to a residence in the 2300 block of Shady Lane.
THEFTS
On Feb. 18, shortly after noon. It was reported that someone stole money from a home in the 300 block of Aspen Lane between Monday, Feb. 13 and Friday, Feb. 17.
On Feb. 19, at 12:53 p.m., it was reported that someone stole multiple items from a home located in the 500 block of Hill Street between Dec. 25, 2016 and Feb. 19.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
On Feb. 18 at 9:46 p.m. a 29-year-old, of the 1100 block of Boxwood Drive in Mount Prospect, was
arrested and charged with driving under the influence, obstructing a peace officer and speeding
after police conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Central Avenue.
AGGRAVATED BATTERY TO A PEACE OFFICER
On Feb. 19 at 8:46 p.m., a 58-year-old Highland Park woman, of the 600 block of Elm Place, was arrested and
charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer, resisting arrest of a peace officer and disorderly conduct after police responded to a complaint in the 600 block of Elm Place.
