HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following information comes from the Highland Park Police Deparment as a record of police activity. An arrest is not an indication of guilt, as criminal charges represent merely accusations by the state. POSSESSION OF MORE THAN 100G OF CANNABIS
Victor R. Fontana, 19, of the 300 block of Euclid Avenue in Highwood was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis greater than 100 grams and less than 500 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper lane usage and speeding after police conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Skokie Valley Road and Park Avenue West on April 18 at 1:12 a.m.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Alexia M. Perez, 22, of the 2400 block of Hermon Avenue in Zion was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage after police conducted a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road on April 21 at 1:14 a.m.

NO VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE (ACCIDENT)
Temitayo Daniel Adetayo, 20, of the 4500 block of North Clarendon Drive in Chicago was arrested and charged with no valid driver’s license after police responded to a traffic accident near the intersection of Skokie Valley Road and Half Day Road at 9:53 a.m. on April 22.
DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED (ACCIDENT)
Arthur S. Bastardo, 47, of the 7500 block of Marshall Avenue in Hammond, Indiana was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended after police responded to a traffic accident near the intersection of Skokie Valley Road and Half Day Road April 22 at 10:21 a.m.
AGGRAVATED DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Chester M. Nelson Jr., 48, of the 15000 block of Wood Street in Harvey was arrested and charged with aggravated driving under the influence and driving while license suspended after police conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Skokie Valley Road April 23 at 1:45 a.m.
SHOPLIFTING
On April 17 it was reported that unknown male and female subjects stole merchandise from a business located in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road on April 13 at approximately 5:10 p.m.
On April 17 it was reported that a male subject stole merchandise from a business located in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road on April 17 at approximately 9:30 p.m.
On April 18 Maria Klonowski, 66, of the 0 – 100 block of Ashford Court, Lincolnshire was issued an administrative citation for retail theft after police responded to a complaint at a business located in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road.
On April 20 it was reported that someone stole a cell phone and various credit and debit cards from an employee at a business located in the 1500 block of County Line Road between 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. on April 20.
On April 21 it was reported that an unknown female subject stole merchandise from a business located in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road on April 21 at approximately 10:35 a.m.
THEFT
On April 19 it was reported that a female subject stole multiple household items over several months from a residence located in the 200 block of Hastings Avenue.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO LANDSCAPING
On April 19 it was reported that someone damaged landscaping to multiple residences in the 2400 block of Ridge Road between the morning and evening hours of that day.
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
On April 20 it was reported that someone stole vehicle parts from a vehicle that was parked in the 400 block of Central Avenue on April 19th between 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
THEFT
On April 22 it was reported that someone stole multiple pieces of jewelry from a residence located in the 300 block of Temple Avenue between December 25, 2016 and March 15, 2017.
