Highland Park Financial Professional Earns $25,000 for Cures Within Reach
Extraordinary volunteer work by McTigue Financial Group Wealth Management Advisor honored through annual Community Service Award

In the spirit of volunteerism, Northwestern Mutual, through its foundation, is recognizing Highland Park resident Steven Braun for his work with Cures Within Reach as a recipient of the company’s 2015 Community Service Award.
Braun, a wealth management advisor at Northwestern Mutual McTigue Financial Group in Chicago, was chosen as one of four most exceptional volunteers across the country for his outstanding volunteerism, earning him a $25,000 grant for Cures Within Reach. The award identifies Northwestern Mutual financial professionals who demonstrate exemplary service with a local nonprofit and honors the organization with a grant on behalf of the volunteer’s work.
“This grant will help Cures Within Reach help other organizations continue to find new treatments and cures for diseases such as cancer,” Braun said. “Through working with this organization for 12 years, I’ve seen firsthand the impact these treatments can have on helping those in need.”
