Highland Park High School Names New Head Coach Of Girls Golf
Art teacher and current assistant coach Jessica Berens was picked to lead the Giants girls golf team.

From Highland Park Schools/District 113: Highland Park High School has named Jessica Berens, current assistant girls golf coach and art teacher, as its new head girls golf coach. Berens has been a teacher at Highland Park High School for the past six years and the assistant girls golf coach for the past three years.
Berens began playing golf at a young age and spent the majority of her childhood summers on the golf course. As a member of the Augustana Vikings golf team, Berens was named most valuable freshmen, CCIW Academic All-Conference, and an NGCA All-American Scholar. During her senior season, she served as the captain of the team.
“The girls golf team will represent Highland Park High School with integrity, teamwork, passion for the game, and always striving for excellence on and off the course,” Berens stated. “I am most excited about sharing my love of the game and working with a team of incredibly talented, motivated, and fun-spirited athletes.”
