Our dedicated faculty provides high-quality instruction in a nurturing, disciplined, and inspiring environment. We strive to educate the mind, body, and soul—honoring the tradition of dance as an art form. At NSSD, we don’t just teach routines—we teach students how to dance. NeighborhoodScout.com had <a href="https://www.neighborhoodscout.com/neighborhoods/crime-rates/top100safest/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Highland Park listed as the No. 81 safest place in the country</a> based on a study that took into account the number of property and violent crimes per 1,000 residents. However, there were 13 cities in Illinois the study deemed safer than Highland Park. Lake in the Hills was found to be the safest place in Illinois and ranked No. 7 nationally.
