The Highwood Public Library will start offering curbside pickup of materials starting Monday, June 15.
Taking precautions to ensure the safety of staff and patrons, the Highwood Public Library has put together steps to implement curbside pickup so that patrons will be able to access all library materials throughout the summer.
Patrons will be able to request books, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, and games, online, by phone, or by email. Staff will pull together the requests and then notify patrons when they can pick up in the city parking lot west of the Library building. Staff will place items in backseats or trunks to ensure no contact with patrons.
