Hollywood Inspires HPHS with FOCUS On The Arts "Movie Night"
Join Highland Park High School Film Makers on the Red Carpet for FOCUS "Night At The Movies"
Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Highland Park High School’s FOCUS on the Arts is proud to once again host FOCUS “Night at the Movies” as the kick-off event, prior to the festivities next week, “Movie Night” is this Friday, April 10th in the HPHS Auditorium at 7PM, and dedicated to student film work and a tribute to the power of film.
With an Academy Awards theme, the night will feature student films of all kinds. Students in film-making classes, or working independently submitted their short documentaries, features and animation. A student-faculty panel then selected films to premiere on this special night in front of a live audience. Doors open at 6:30pm, so come early to walk the Red Carpet and be on the lookout for the paparazzi! “Night at the Movies” is free and open to the public and one of only two FOCUS events that does not require a ticket. Admission is FREE! Doors open at 6:30 PM, house lights down at 7pm for a “Night at the Movies”, this Friday, April 10th in the HPHS Auditorium. Refreshments available.
