HP Police Come for the Loud Party, Stay Because of the Underage Drinking

Driving Under the Influence

Ricki Herman, 63, of the 200 block of Sheridan Road, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after police responded to a two-car accident Nov. 3, in the 1700 block of Skokie Valley Road. Herman was released on bond with a court date of Nov. 28.

Speeding and DUI

Sakita Lee, 21, of the 2400 block of Lewis Avenue, Zion, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane use and speeding after being stopped by police Nov. 8, in the 100 block of the Edens Expressway. Lee was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Dec. 19.

Loud Party and Underage Drinking

Police responded at around 11:39 p.m. Nov. 8, to the 1700 block of Elmwood Place after receiving a report of a party involving underage drinking.

Adam Rudman, 46, and Emily Rudman, 45, both of the 1700 block of Elmwood Place, were cited administratively for activity constituting a public nuisance. Samuel Coan, 18, of the 1600 block of Ryders Lane, was cited administratively for consumption of alcohol by minor. The Rudman’s and Coan are expected in administrative court at City Hall on December 18 2014.
