HPHS Duo Named King and Queen at "Enchantment Under the Sea" Prom
Omkar Prasad and Katherine (Kate) Haile received the honor at the Shedd Aquarium earlier this month.
Since 2015 is a significant year when it comes to the popular 1980s movie trilogy Back to the Future, it was only fitting for this year’s Highland Park High School Senior Prom to be dubbed ”Enchantment Under the Sea” - the fictional 1955 dance where Back to the Future characters George and Lorraine finally hooked up thanks to their future son, Marty.
The Shedd Aquarium was the locale for the HPHS event, held on May 16. The prom king was Omkar Prasad and the queen was Katherine (Kate) Haile.
Senior class sponsors were Drew Eder and Kate Kastner.
