HIGHLAND PARK, IL - Highland Park High School senior Daniella Cohen has been selected as a candidate for <a href="http://www2.ed.gov/programs/psp/index.html" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">the United States Presidential Scholars program</a>, a list that includes less than 200 students nationwide. According to a District 113 news release, up to 161 graduating high school seniors are selected among <a href="http://www2.ed.gov/programs/psp/2016/candidates.pdf" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">several thousand who are invited to apply</a> each year. Scholars are recognized during the National Recognition Program in June in Washington, D.C.Two seniors from Deerfield High School, Jessica Chen and David Zhao, were also among the this year's selections.
