Huge Cubs Logo Painted on Highland Park Man's Front Yard

Josh Weisbart celebrated his 40th birthday today with the paint job honoring his favorite team.

HIGHLAND PARK, IL - A die-hard Chicago Cubs fan from Highland Park celebrated his 40th birthday on Thursday by painting his front yard with a big red and blue Cubs logo.

"I ran to the hardware store today and bought some spray paint and free handed it in about 30 minutes," said Josh Weisbart, who lives in the 600 block of Burton Avenue in the city's Ravinia District. "I had a great Cubs themed birthday today playing music and painting my yard."

Weisbart, who grew up as a Cubs fan but supported the Chicago White Sox for a few years after his father performed dental work on one of the South Side team's owners, said he was inspired to create the front yard display after seeing something similar "on the World Wide Web."

He said he is "so pumped" about the World Series finally coming to Wrigley Field.

And confident his boys in blue will bring home the 'W' three more times.

"Cubs will win the World Series on Sunday or Tuesday," he said. "Hopefully in Chicago on Sunday night!"
