Jazz in January Inspire IMPROVISATION January 24, 4:00 Bennett-Gordon Hall On January 24th, Midwest Young Artists jazz program will present Inspire your IMPROVISATION, Jazz in January at Bennett Gordon Hall in Ravinia. Performing standards from across the world of jazz by the Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Orchestra, Jazz Workshop and Big Band, this concert will also feature Ingrid Jensen, trumpet virtuoso and artist-in-residence in the trumpet faculty at the University of Michigan. Her performances as a leader and as a featured soloist have taken her around the world from Canada to Japan, Australia, South America, South Africa, the Caribbean and to almost every country in Europe and Scandinavia.
