HIGHLAND PARK, IL — Illinois-formed classic rock heroes, REO Speedwagon, will be returning to the Chicagoland area on November 2nd for a very good cause.

The band is helping raise money for Keshet, a local organization that was sculptured to assist those with disabilities, believing community is everything.

The Keshet team and their valued supporters strive to create a community of belonging where children, teens, and adults of all abilities can learn, play, work, and live together.

The organization currently helps over 600 people with disabilities and special needs.

Originally formed in 1982 by a group of Chicago-area parents, Keshet quickly expanded and opened their first elementary school in 1988, only six years after their creation.

Fast forward to present day, Keshet is now responsible for over 75 programs among their 3 residences. The foundation employs over 200 dedicated staff members and has over 120 active volunteers, with thousands of engaged donors all around the world.

Keshet’s annual benefit concert and campaign is now returning in 2022, after being on a hiatus since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Back in 2019, Keshet named their annual concert in memory and honor of their longtime friend and participant, the late Kenny Rudin.

Kenny spent over 20 years growing up with Keshet, forming many meaningful friendships while sharing his hobbies and passions with his peers. To this day, Kenny’s impact continues to inspire others to live every day to the fullest.

REO Speedwagon has partnered with Keshet in the past, but this will be their first time back on the Keshet stage in 12 years.

This year’s event will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 7PM at the North Shore Center for Performing Arts in Skokie, IL.

Tickets are selling out fast with only a limited number of seats still available. Go to keshet.org/concert to learn more about the event, or call (847) 656-3397.
