Look Great and Travel Well with Only A Carry-On: Pack It Well Party, June 18, 5-7 pm at Teddie Kossof Salon, sponsored by Halo Medicine

Have you gone on a week-long vacation or business trip with a month’s worth of clothing, and found you only wore a few things? You’re not alone! Many a weary traveler has returned with a suitcase full of well-traveled, clean and unworn clothes. In addition to being unnecessary, over-packing can also be expensive since most airlines now charge to check bags.

Why not skip the hassle and take one very well planned carry-on case instead?

On Thursday, June 18 between 5 pm and 7 pm, Halo Medicine in Northfield will be sponsoring a “Pack It Well Party” at Teddie Kossof Salon with local stylist Suzanna Pearson of WearItWell.me. Pearson, a color and wardrobe consultant and master travel packer, will be sharing her tricks for choosing just the right combination of clothing for any trip.

“When I go home to New Zealand for three weeks, I only bring a carry on,” Pearson said. “If I can do that, so can you!”

“I love working with Suzanna,” said Heidi Stern of J Crew. “Her tips on packing are spot on. She helps women gain confidence in themselves. Everyone needs a little Suzanna in her life!”

Pearson will share her 3-2-1 process for choosing what to pack. “The key to packing well is color,” she explained. “You need to choose a base color for your coat, pants and shoes first. Then you build upon that and choose pieces that compliment. All pieces should work well together so you can make multiple outfits for day and night, and layer to manage changes in weather.”
