Man Looking Into Store Windows Resisted Arrest: Police

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Eddie Martinez-Gonzalez, 28, North Chicago was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and improper lane usage after being stopped by police in the 600 block of Elm Place at 12:55 a.m. on March 17.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Tang Yong Fang, 58, Vernon Hills was arrested and charged with battery at 9:23 p.m. on March 20 after police responded to a dispute between two employees in the 600 block of Central Avenue.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

Emil Evans, 21, of the 1800 block of York Lane was arrested and charged with four counts of domestic battery and criminal trespass to residence after police responded to a dispute between two subjects in the 1800 block of York Lane.

BATTERY / OBSTRUCTING JUSTICE

Ryan Nedoss, 19, of the 2600 block of Roslyn Lane was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, battery, possession of cannabis and obstructing justice at 10:49 p.m. on March 21 after police observed a suspicious subject looking into closed business windows in the 2000 block of First Street.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Graffiti was reported sprayed in red spray paint under a bridge near Patten Road and Whistler Road at 12:58 p.m. on March 16. The markings were approximately 15” high and 4 feet wide. Unknown time frame of occurrence.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

A delayed residential burglary was reported in the 200 block of Leonard Wood North. A front door was left unlocked on March 16 between 11:45 a.m. and 2 p.m. Jewelry was reported missing. No forced entry was noted.

RETAIL THEFT

A large amount of custom jewelry was shoplifted from a business in the 400 block of Central Avenue at 2:35 p.m. on March 17.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

A concrete planter was located broken across the street at 8:55 a.m. on March 18. The planter was last seen intact on the edge of a driveway located in the 1400 block of St. Johns Avenue. Unknown time frame of occurrence.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Two trees were located with a type of road salt spread around the bases in the 900 block of Augusta Way at 9:42 a.m. on March 18. Unknown what type of damage has been caused.

THEFT

A black Hoffner 14 violin was stolen sometime between 7:30-8 p.m. on March 16 from a front porch in the 1200 block of Ridgewood Drive.

THEFT

A large amount of jewelry was reported stolen while a residence in the 600 block of Hyacinth Place was under extensive renovation between June, 2014 and August, 2014.
