Beloved wife of the late Berle Schwartz. Loving mother of David (Wendy) Schwartz, Steven Schwartz and Mark Schwartz. Cherished grandmother of Jake Schwarz, Maddie Schwartz, Emily (Matthew) Fogel and Sadie Schwartz. Dear sister of Michael (the late Terry) Chemino. Affectionately known as "Chemi" by some of her dear friends.

Marilyn worked in the Chicago Public Schools and in Rogers Park for many years as a 4th, 5th and 6th Grade Teacher. She was also President of Women's American ORT and Sunset Golf League and an active member of both the Museum of Contemporary Art and Hadassah.

Service Thursday 10AM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. Interment Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Floor 17 Chicago, IL 60601, www.alz.org.
