Minors Had Weed and Booze at Fort Sheridan Beach Thursday Night: Cops

Six underage men were charged with offenses after being located by Highland Park police at Fort Sheridan Beach at 11:37 p.m. on July 23. 

Four 19-year-olds and three 18-year-olds from Highland Park, Deerfield, Riverwoods and Bannockburn are expected in court on September 3 to face charges, according to a police report.

All six were charged with possession of cannabis. Five also face a count of possession of alcohol by a minor.
