Muzzle-Loading Shotgun Stolen During Move: Police

The following reports are from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an admission of guilt.

Items Stolen From Dock Box

Between Oct. 21 and Oct. 24, an unknown offender stole a 5-by-2-foot, locked dock box from a beachfront in the 200 block of North Deere Park Drive, which contained five chairs, a folding table and an umbrella.

Shotgun Stolen

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. While moving from one residence to another Oct. 26, a muzzle loading shotgun was stolen. The incident is believed to have occurred in the area of the 300 block of Elm Place.

Stolen Minivan

An unknown subject stole a parked, black Honda Odyssey Minivan with no license plates at about 6:50 p.m. Oct. 19, from the south side of a business in the 100 block of Skokie Valley Road.
