New Jewelry Store in Highland Park
Cy Fredrics Jewelers is now open in Port Clinton Square.

A longtime, popular jeweler now has a second location in Highland Park.
Cy Fredrics Jewelers will replace Port Clinton Jewelers at Port Clinton Square, 600 Central Ave. Ste. 111.
The boutique, which first opened in 1958 in Skokie and moved that store to Glenview’s Plaza Del Prado Shopping Center in 1978, specializes in engagement rings, wedding bands, diamonds, gemstones, ladies’ watches and jewelry from the Kendall Nicole Collection.

“Opening a second store has been in our plans for years,” said Michael Lemick, President of Cy Fredrics. “We just needed to find the right time and perfect location for our current and new customers. Through all of these years, we’ve been honored to work with customers that trust us and continue to shop with us. Now, we look forward to sharing our expertise with them from both locations.”
Cy Fredrics Highland Park will have more of a “ladies’ boutique atmosphere and feel” than its sister store, according to Dustin Lemick, Vice President of Cy Fredrics.

To celebrate their expansion, Cy Fredrics is hosting a month of festivities with giveaways, special designer appearances, customized engagement ring designing and its very own “Crack the Safe” promotion. Starting Dec. 1, Facebook fans and in-store guests will be offered chances to secure codes to a safe full of one-of-a-kind pieces, watches and more.
“It’s been an honor and privilege for us to be a part of the community for the past 57 years,” Lemick said. “As a successful business it’s our responsibility to give back to our community.”
