Featured Obituary:

Antionette “Netty” G. Mordini of Highwood, Illinois peacefully passed into eternal life on Thursday February 13, 2020. She was 91. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, John R. Mordini and by her parents, Ray and Lena Grotti. She was a wonderful mother to and is survived by her children, Nancy M. (R. Nelson) Bryant and Bradley R. Mordini. She was a cherished Grandmother to Andrew (Sarah) Bryant.

With a winning smile, Netty loved family, friends and always had a positive outlook with a zest for life. She is most remembered for leaving her “mark” of orange lipstick when greeting friends and family. Born in Indiana, most of her life was spent in Highwood. Graduated from Highland Park High School in 1945, worked for the Highland Park Gas Company, was hostess for Green Acres Country Club in Northbrook, Illinois, and retired with over 20 years as the receptionist at the Ft. Sheridan Dental Clinic.
