Featured Obituary:

Thomas “Tom” Paul Leonard, age 57, of Winnetka, Illinois. Adored husband of Elizabeth “Liz” Miller Leonard. Supportive and loving father of Jessica Leonard (Miguel Gonzales), Laura Leonard, and Margaret “Maggie” Leonard. Devoted son of Paul and Nancy Leonard nee Calvin. Cherished brother of Michael (Julie) Leonard. Caring uncle to many nieces and nephews. Compassionate step grandfather of Madalyn Gonzales and Julia Gonzales. Loyal friend to countless.

He was the guy who would... shovel snow in Birkenstocks and refuse to wear a winter jacket, grill - rain or shine, go for a swim regardless of the weather, always joke, laugh, and try to get those around him to do the same, embrace people who came into his life with enthusiasm, do anything if it meant that he could spend time with those he cared about, and drop whatever he was doing to help those he loved.

He was the guy who loved... growing up in Winnetka, hanging out at Crow Island woods, swimming in lake Michigan, being in the mountains of Ouray, spending time in the north woods of Wisconsin, wearing tie-dye t-shirts, Mt. Gay Rum and tonics or a Guinness, listening to music and going to concerts. He loved his girls, his family, and friends endlessly.
