Pizza Bowl and Baker's Cup Showcase Returns To D-113

From Township High School District 113: Please join us for the District 113 Education Foundation’s sixth annual Pizza Bowl and Baker’s Cup Showcase on Sunday, January 28th from 5-6:30 p.m. at Highland Park High School! Come taste samples of the best pizza in the District and satisfy your sweet tooth by sampling the most delicious desserts in the area—all for just $10 ($25 per family!)-no advance reservations required! This years’ pizza participants include Bella Via, Buffo’s, Dominos, Il Forno (Deerfield), Lou Malnati’s, Rosatis (Bannockburn), Slyce, Wa-pa-ghettis and more to come! Participating sweet shops include Bent Fork, Breadsmith, Dunkin Donuts, Frost, Jewel Bakery, Sunset Foods Bakery and Upper Crust Bagels! Enjoy music of the Deerfield and Highland Park High School Jazz bands while you eat, and take a chance at winning a raffle prize provided by Baker Boys, Blaze and Cluckers! Water bottles kindly donated by Perkins + Will.

All proceeds benefit the District 113 Education Foundation, which funds grants for unique and innovative education programs at Deerfield and Highland Park High Schools. Since its inception in 2007, the District 113 Education Foundation has awarded more than $250,000 in grants to HPHS and DHS. The Foundation awarded more than $40,000 for 17 grants in 2018 supporting humanities, language arts, performance arts, STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math), leadership and diversity programs. Our 2017 and 2018 $19,000 Signature Grants support the FUSE Lab program at Highland Park and Deerfield High Schools. In partnership with Northwestern University, the FUSE Lab introduces self-directed projects to hundreds of students so they can learn about careers in STEAM.
