The Port Clinton Art Festival Invites Local Children to Participate in Youth Art Division

What: The Port Clinton Art Festival is inviting youth community members between 6-18 years old to showcase their artwork in the Youth Art Division. All submitted entries will be on display at the Port Clinton Art Festival in downtown Highland Park on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Along with the application is a $60.00 booth fee. Applications are on “first come/first served” basis. Youth Artist Division Guidelines and Information· The Youth Art Division is open to youth artists, 6-18 years old. ·Two exhibitors may be in one booth if they have worked together on artwork. Artists will still be asked to pay $60.00 booth fee and will receive extra large booth. ·Artists may only sell work created completely by the artist only. ·All types of original art may be shown: painting, drawing, jewelry, ceramics, prints, fiber, sculpture, photographs, glass and mixed media. ·A tent cover will be provided. Artists will provide their own set up as tables, easels, displays, etc. Tables must be covered to the ground with cloth. ·The festival will run rain or shine. Artists must check in Saturday morning of the festival between 8 a.m. -9 a.m. in the festival office. · Artists are expected to stay for the entire days on both days: 10 a.m. -5 p.m. Artists who leave early will not be allowed to participate in the future.

When: The festival will take place on Saturday, August 29th and Sunday, August, 30th from 10 a.m. -6 p.m.
