Repeat Port-A-Potty Trespasser: Highland Park Crime Blotter

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following is the most recent crime blotter from the Highland Park Police Department.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

• Property - Aug. 14 at 9:23 a.m.
  • A resident reported that somebody had cut off the lock on a portable restroom in Jens Jenson Park several times.

THEFT

• Property - Aug. 14 at 2:57 p.m.
  • A resident reported that a wagon, worth $699, was taken from their property near the roadway in the 1100 block of St. Johns Avenue.
• Vehicle - Aug. 15 at 6:35 p.m.
  • A resident told police that the license plate on their car that was parked in the Port Clinton Parking Garage was stolen.
• Retail- Aug. 15 at 7:13 p.m.
  • Staff at the Target located at 2099 Skokie Valley Road told police that a man took $57 worth of merchandise without paying.
