​Richard L. Bass, age 92

Richard L. Bass, age 92, a 68 year resident of Highland Park, IL died on January 26, 2022. Dick was the loving husband for 71 years to Dee Bass, loving father of Linda Bass (Tork Johnson), Mark Bass (Emily Bass) and proudest loving grandpa of Ross Bass. Loving son of the late Jay Bass and Florence Daskal Bass, loving brother to the late Robert Bass. Treasured uncle, great uncle and great-great uncle and friend to many. Proud graduate of Francis Parker School and Purdue University. Owned electronics distributing stores and was a member of the Chicago Board of Trade. Dick was an avid sports fan, especially the Chicago White Sox. Dick and Dee had a 72 year love affair. Dick loved people, talked to everyone he met and people loved him back.
