Unborn Baby Killed in Des Plaines Car Crash
A Tuesday morning crash at Touhy Avenue and River Road took the life of a baby at 37 week gestation.
DES PLAINES, IL - An unborn baby died as a result of a car crash in Des Plaines earlier this week.
The child was at 37 weeks gestation when the crash occurred at 9:25 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Touhy Avenue and River Road, according to a Chicago Tribune report. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the death just hours later.
No information has been shared on the condition of the baby’s mother, who reports indicate lives in Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood on the North Side.
