LINCOLNSHIRE, IL — A 19-year-old Wheeling man has been charged with two counts of felony sex assault. Lincolnshire police were called around 7:00 p.m. on Feb. 22 to investigate a criminal sexual assault that had happened on Monday, Feb. 20 on the 200 block of Parkway Drive. The victim identified the defendant, Kevin Perez-Galeana, as a former acquaintance, police said. Perez-Galeana was arrested for criminal sexual assault (a class 1 felony) and criminal sexual abuse (a class 4 felony) and is being held at the Lake County Jail.
