Small Works opens Dec. 1st at A.I.R. Glencoe

44 artist members of Artmaker North exhibit in Small Works exhibit at A.I.R. Gallery 348 Tudor, Glencoe. Opening Dec 1st 4-7. ends Dec 28

On Dec. 1st from 4-7, forty Artmakers North members will open their exhibit at A.I.R. gallery, 348 Tudor Crt. Glencoe./ Artmakers North is a group of mid career artists who work in a variety of media and who were frustrated by the lack of exhibition opportunities and costly gallery commissions They have bandedv together to create a series of pop up exhibitions through out the North Shore and Lake County. Initially conceived by Ann Rosen, retired Executive Director of the Art Center Highland Park as a social group that would meet for breakfast and discuss common issues, it quickly evolved as a vehicle to provide its 70 artist more exhibitions opportunities north of the city. Future exhibits are planned for Northbrook, Lake Forest, Waukegan, Libertyville, Highland Park and Evanston.

Highland Park artists include:

Adrienne Aaronson, Gail Baar, Suzanne Horowitz, MaraKrumins, Pam Lee, Fern Migdal, Ruti Modlin, Davis Robbin, Ann Rosen, Beth Shadur, Peggy Shearn, Cheryl Steiger and Kay Thomas.
