Sushi Restaurateur Plans Highland Park Location
Mike Ham, the man behind Tanoshii Sushi, wants to open a 3rd restaurant in the Chicago area.

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — Not satisfied with two sushi restaurants in the Chicago area, restaurateur Mike Ham has his sites set on Highland Park when it comes to opening a third location.
Ham, who owns Tanoshii Sushi restaurants in Andersonville and the West Loop, told Chicago Eater he plans to open a sushi spot at 1945 Sheridan St. in Highland Park. This location would seat 50 customers—smaller than his two current Tanoshii Sushi spots—and allow him to introduce some of his familiar dishes to suburban residents.
Although he didn't reveal a timetable for opening the new establishment, Ham did tell Eater that he does have a liquor license for the location.
