Teen Accused of Setting Fire Near Skate Ramp: Police

Retail Theft
Thomas Cyr, 38, of the 1900 block of Fieldwood Drive, Northbrook, was arrested and charged with retail theft Oct. 27, after shoplifting at a business in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road. Cyr was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Nov. 12.
Damage to State Property
Leonard Kats, 18, of the 500 block of Lockard Lane, Highwood, was arrested and charged with criminal damage to state-supported property Oct. 27, after police responded to a report of a fire near the skate ramp in the 1800 block of Sunset Road. Kats was transported to bond court pending court date.

Driving Under the Influence
Ron O’Neal, 38, of the 3700 block of West Thomas Street, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage and driving while license revoked Oct. 28, after being stopped by police in the 1700 block of Skokie Valley Road. O’Neal was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Dec. 5.
Another DUI Arrest
Michael Meyers, 46, of the 300 block of Flora Place, Highland Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence Oct. 29, after police responded to a report of a suspicious subject in the 0-100 block of Skokie Valley Road. Meyers was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Nov. 21.

Yet Another DUI for the Hat Trick
Troy Brackett, 28, of the 100 block of Woodlake Boulevard, Gurnee, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage and no valid drivers license Nov. 1, after police located a disabled vehicle in the 1600 block of Deerfield Road. Brackett was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Dec. 5.
Driving With a Suspended License
Rigoberto Sanchez, 34, of the 3800 block of West Cullom Avenue, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and only one headlight illuminated Nov. 2, after being stopped by police near Clavey Road and Clavey Lane. Sanchez was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Dec. 10.
Speeding 35 mph or More Over the Limit
Jaroslaw Wroblewski, 28, of the 5300 block of North Lotus Avenue, Chicago, was arrested and charged with speeding, improper lane use and no valid driver’s license Nov. 2, after being police stopped her traveling 35 mph or more near Skokie Valley Road and Park Avenue West. Wroblewski was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Dec. 10.
