Teen Charged With Excessive Speeding in Highland Park

Several reports of political signs being stolen in the city.

SPEEDING 35+ MPH OVER THE LIMIT

Eddie Muzquiz, 18, Chicago was arrested and charged with speeding 35+ MPH over the limit after police conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Skokie Valley Road and Park Avenue West at 12:46 p.m. on Oct. 23.

THEFT

On Oct. 17 it was reported that an unknown individual(s) stole multiple items of jewelry from a residence located in the 2700 block of Roslyn Lane.

On Oct. 18 it was reported that an unknown individual(s) stole a political sign from a resident’s front yard in the 1400 block of Sunnyside Avenue on Oct. 14.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

On Oct. 19 it was reported that an unknown individual(s) entered a residence in the 1400 block of Tropez Court and stole an item of jewelry between 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 18.

THEFT

On Oct. 20 it was reported that an unknown individual(s) stole multiple political signs from a resident’s front yard in the 1800 block of Cavell Avenue.

ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

On Oct. 23 it was reported that an unknown individual(s) attempted to enter a residence located in the 1900 block of Green Bay Road between Oct. 21 and Oct. 23.
