Teen Girl Used Knife in Dispute on Red Oak Lane: Cops

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
Briana Jackson, 18, Des Plaines was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault and Unlawful Use of a Weapon (knife) after police responded to a report of a dispute in the 700 block of Red Oak Lane at 1:03 p.m. on Sept. 29.

SPEEDING 35+ MPH OVER LIMIT
Jordan Esparza-Kelley, 20, Beach Park was arrested and charged with speeding 35+ mph over the limit after being stopped by police near Half Day Road and Skokie Valley Road at 4:28 a.m. on Oct. 1.

THEFT
On Sept. 25 between 7:55 a.m. and 9:35 a.m., an unknown person entered a locker at a business in the 700 block of Central Avenue and removed gym shoes, a gym bag and a TRX pro set.

THEFT
Two political signs were stolen from a residential lawn in the 300 block of Green Bay Road at 1:14 p.m. on Oct. 2.
