The Highland Park-Highwood Legal Aid Clinic, with Open Communities,

John Tilton of the City of Highland Park reviewed ordinances
and encouraged tenants to contact his office if there were violations.

The event was capped off with Kathryn Vanden Berk providing an overview of the legal services the Clinic can provide. Simultaneous translation of the
event was provided by Esteban Carbajal, and a resource fair, with
representatives of ComEd, North Shore Gas, Moraine Township and Family
Services, provided additional information to the attendees.
Special thanks to the Highland Park High School, and Principal Tom
Koulentes, for doing everything to make this event work so well.
