Thief Plucks Car Antenna Off Vehicle: Highland Park Crime Blotter

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following is the most recent crime blotter from the Highland Park Police Department.

THEFT

• Retail - July 6 at 11:43 a.m.
  • Staff at the Target located at 2099 Skokie Valley Road told police that a man took $92 worth of merchandise without paying.
• Retail - July 6 at 10:06 p.m.
  • Staff at the CVS located at 1539 Clavey Road told police that a man took merchandise without paying.
• Retail - July 9 at 1:56 p.m.
  • Staff at the Target located at 2099 Skokie Valley Road told police that a man took $235 worth of merchandise without paying.
• Retail - July 9 at 2:39 p.m.
  • Staff at the Ulta located at 135 Skokie Valley Road told police that a man and woman took $3,075 worth of merchandise without paying.
• Vehicle - July 11 at 5:46 p.m.
  • A resident living in the 2700 block of Waukegan Avenue reported that their radio antenna was taken off of their car. Police said the antenna was worth $250.

BURGLARY

• Vehicle - July 12 at 2:18 p.m.
  • A resident living in the 800 block of Burton Avenue told police that an unknown person went inside their unlocked car overnight, but nothing was stolen.
