HIGHLAND PARK, IL - Natives and current residents of Highland Park already know where to go for a good night out of dining, but what do visitors to one of Chicago’s finest suburbs have to say about the local dining scene?

Users of the popular travel website TripAdvisor rate the top attractions, restaurants and hotels in every city throughout the United States.

In all, 74 restaurants in Highland Park were rated. Here are the five restaurants visitors rated the highest.

1. Abigail’s American Bistro: Reviewer from Prior Lake, Minn. states: “The quality was unbelievable for the price and the service was very good. Yes some would call it loud but I would call it lively. A must return.”
2. Bluegrass: Reviewer from Vail, Colo. states: “Bluegrass is great from start to finish. The hosts (Joanie and Jim) are always welcoming and the bar is great. Luis is master at creating tasty and potent cocktails. The food is consistently good and you will always finish dinner in a great mood.”
3. Walker Bros. Original Pancake House: Reviewer from Tulsa, Okla. states: “Located in the heart of downtown Highland Park. Vast menu. Attractive restaurant. First and formost (sic), great food.”
4. Once Upon a Bagel: Reviewer from Orlando states: “Great family owned business. ..wonderful deli bagels and all the nosh that comes with it.”
5. Norton’s Restaurant: Reviewer from Chicago states: “Been here a million times, always eat the cobb salad, its great but this place has the most underrated Burger in chicago, it is ridicuoulsly (sic) good. Hard to explain, but it is by far the most flavorful burger around, cooked perfectly, fries there are great. Never a bad meal.”
