Two Vans Stolen from Parking Lot: Cops
Indiana man allegedly violated an order of protection in Highland Park.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Lorena Nunez, 29, Melrose Park was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage after police located Nunez asleep at the wheel of her vehicle in the 500 block of Green Bay Road, Highland Park at 2:35 a.m. February 11.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED
Hector Garcia-Lopez, 39, Chicago was arrested and charged with driving while license revoked for DUI, improper left turn and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police near the intersection of Half Day Road and Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park at 9:38 a.m. on February 13 at 9:38 a.m.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Aldhair Roldan, 18, of the 2100 block of Lauretta Place was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended for DUI, disobeying a stop sign and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police in the 1800 block of Second Street, Highland Park at 11:15 p.m. on February 13.
VIOLATION OF ORDER OF PROTECTION
Jesus Gonzalez, 28, Highland, Indiana was arrested and charged with violation of an order of protection after police responded to a report of a physical dispute that had occurred in the 1500 block of Lake Cook Road, Highland Park at 6:08 a.m. on February 14. Gonzalez was also found to have an outstanding Lake County Sheriff’s warrant for telephone harassment and a Cook County Sheriff’s warrant for domestic battery.
THEFT
A checkbook was stolen around 9:30 a.m. on February 10 from church offices in the 700 block of Deerfield Road after a subject was found in a locker room unattended. A check was later found fraudulently cashed in Winnetka.
THEFT
Two rings were noticed missing from a residence in the 1500 block of Green Bay Road sometime around January 18, 2015 after having a small group of people over to watch a football game.
THEFT
Several pieces of Oneida silverware were taken from a hutch at a residence in the 1100 block of Linden Avenue sometime between June 1, 2014 and present.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
Two vehicles, a 2007 Ford Econoline Van (white) and a 2006 Ford Econoline Van (maroon) were stolen from a parking lot in the 1500 block of Old Skokie Road. One va was stolen on February 14 at approximately 9:50 p.m. and the other on February 15 at approximately 1:15 a.m. Both vans were later recovered by Chicago Police Department unoccupied. Unknown if anything had been stolen from the vans.
