Whitney Bischoff, Chris Soules Part Ways

The romance between Whitney Bischoff and Chris Soules made famous on ‘The Bachelor’ has come to an end.

News of the split first came from Mike Fleiss, executive producer of “The Bachelorette,” who tweeted “Sad news to report: @souleschris and @whitbisch are no longer engaged...” ABC News and others quickly confirmed the accounts by releasing a statement from a representative of Soules.

“Whitney Bischoff and Chris Soules have mutually and amicably decided to end their engagement,” read the statement, shared by Yahoo and other sources. “They part with nothing but respect and admiration for one another and will continue to be supportive friends. They wish to thank everyone who has supported them through this journey.”

Bischoff is also reportedly back in the Chicago-area at her job as a fertility nurse at A Parent IVF in Highland Park. Soules has returned to his home following the end of the last season of ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ where Soules was a participant and Bischoff was often seen.

Soules proposed to Bischoff in the final episode of ‘The Bachelor’ last season. Bischoff’s job in Highland Park became evident when residents noticed the backdrop of the local hospital in one of the episodes last season.
