Zumbathon for Scleroderma Research on Saturday, December 12, at JCYS/Lutz in Highland Park

Join Highland Park’s Lisa Goodman Helfand, creator of comfortableinmythickskin.com, Zumba Instructor Melissa Garber Kerpel and other local Zumba instructors to shake, shimmy and have some Zumba fun to support the Scleroderma Foundation and the Scleroderma Research Foundation!

When: Saturday, December 12, 8:30am – 9:30am
Where: JCYS/Lutz Center, 800 Clavey Rd., Highland Park

Fee: $10.00 at the door OR use your Lutz Zumba punch card. Donations are welcome. Cash or check at the door.

Proceeds from the Zumbathon will go to the Scleroderma Foundation and the Scleroderma Research Foundation. Scleroderma is a chronic connective tissue disease generally classified as one of the autoimmune rheumatic diseases. Lisa Goodman Helfand lives with scleroderma and brings awareness to it via her comfortableinmythickskin.com website, and Face Off for Scleroderma and #sclerodermaselfies campaign.
